elopement

We quietly married on our 6th anniversary during the height of the pandemic. We chose to wait to share our joy with our family and friends in person to give Renata's grandmother, Rose, a wedding to look forward to as she battled cancer. 

While she did not live to see our big day in New Orleans, she reveled in planning all of the details with the us before joining Jerry, the love of her long and beautiful life, in eternal peace in January of 2022. Never one to miss the party, however, Rose threw us a surprise private wedding dinner in Los Angeles. It's a treasured memory we're happy to share with you now as we remember, honor, and celebrate this time in our lives.
